ch-ch-ch-changes...

It's that time of year...  I just shot my last wedding until April & it's too cold & gross out for portrait work (well, "typical" portrait work, at least).  You think I'd be sitting here all bored and restless with nothing to do.  Well, you'd be wrong.  I've got about 5 million things on my to-do list before wedding season starts up again.  I'm in the process of updating both of my websites, creating new pricing for current & soon-to-be offered products AND getting ready for a fancy new blog.  Oh yeah, I'm excited.  I've been dying for a new one forever, but for some reason or another, haven't made the transition.  I figure now's a pretty good time, you know, with all of my free time and all.  It'll have my twitter updates, on-page commenting & REALLY BIG images!  Awesome, right?  I'm still trying to figure out how to transfer this blog over, but all in due time, I suppose.  It'll still be a little while before it's ready to go live, but I thought I'd go ahead and start building the excitement now.  

Now for the photo portion of this little blog post...

I bought Jack this firefighter jacket a while back & he loves it.  I could be biased, but I think he looks pretty cute as a fireman.  Judge for yourself...

Just in case you thought this was a real fire extinguisher, it comes with this warning: "This is a toy.  Do not use it to extinguish fires".  Good to know.

new products - pt. 1

Know what this is?

It's my fancy, new cd/dvd packaging.  Not only is it really pretty, but it's also 100% green.  It's handmade from organic paper & dipped in beeswax as a preservative.  Awesome.  It comes in a couple of different styles & I'm still deciding which one I like best.  

So, are you confused as to why I'm showing you cd packaging?  Well, I've finally come around & decided to offer prints on disc.  I have new wedding packages that include the option to purchase a cd with reprint rights.  If I've photographed your wedding in the past & you'd like to order a cd, just get ahold of me & I can set that up for you.  

Get ready, because I have more pure photography news coming up!  Everybody loves a cliffhanger, right?

myspace update

Happy Monday everyone!  Have you been a little surprised with how much I've been blogging lately?  Me too :)  Today, I just wanted to let you know that I got rid of my myspace page.  I never, ever went there, so it was just sitting there all neglected and alone in cyberspace.  I still have my facebook page & update & check it regularly, so feel free to hop on there and add me as friend if you haven't done so already.  The link's right over there on the left  <--------  

Of course, there needs to be a picture with this post, so here's one of my new favorite pictures of Jack, edited with some super fun new actions that I just got.

Hey there...  Just wanted to let you know that I haven't had internet access since Sunday, so if you've tried to get ahold of me and haven't received a response, that's why.  Actually, my internet's been pretty spotty for the past week.  I think it's fixed now, but it's still pretty slow.  Anywho, just wanted to keep you in the loop.  Assuming I still have access tomorrow, I'll have a lovely new blog post for you.  Until then, here are some shots of Jack from yesterday.  These aren't posed by the way, he's just a natural ham...
